Rapidly becoming a common face on television as an expert event planner, Michele has been seen on the Osbournes (in episode 3 she was 9 months pregnant), Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood, Peter Perfect  (STYLE), We Mean Business (A&E) and Redemption Song (FUSE).  Just shy of 15 years in the industry, she can't believe what her event planning career has brought her.  The biggest surprise:  when client Moon Unit Zappa offered her the opportunity to be the executive producer for Moon's first film by raising the money throwing a party.  In this case an all knit fashion show which highlighted the estranged theme of the film.

Her event planning career began just after graduating with a BFA in Fine Arts when she was approached by a large catering firm to put her theater (and even waitress) skills into action by managing the backstage and sky boxes at the World Music Theatre and Alpine Valley in Chicago. Not exactly the way Michele expected to use her degree, but exactly the perfect avenue to utilize the skills she had acquired. Her background in drafting lighting plots, constructing flats and stage managing was put to use in Special Events. 

Soon she moved to Los Angeles and lucked into catering for the movie "Bulworth."  Then all of her wildest dreams materialized when she was recommended to Master Chef Celestino Drago for the Life is Beautiful Oscar Party. Their relationship grew for several years while she constantly devoured Pumpkin Ravioli and planned Hollywood’s hottest parties including the BMG Post Grammy Party. As her parties kept growing, so did her clientele which included a number of chefs who kept calling for help with their next event. Center of Attention was born from a small centerpiece company to a privately-owned special events firm meeting the needs of the Los Angeles’ most particular clientele. 

Now Michele will happily connect you with a hot location or hook you up to one  Los Angeles’ hottest chefs. She is proud to have been brought in to consult for Los Angeles top chefs: Helen An, Celestino Drago, Fred Eric just to name a few.
