Glam, glitz and fireworks exploded upon the wedding celebration of Josh and Amanda as they celebrated the marriage in the style of The Great Gatsby. The night began as guests entered Grand Island Mansion a remote historical estate nestled in Northern California which evoked the lure of an era gone by with its tall colonnade and sweeping lawn and ended by the whistle of the police who came to raid the 1920’s themed party.

No detail was missed to insure the event evoked the glam of pomp and circumstance of the roaring 20’s. The cocktail hour included a gorgeous woman decked out in a skirt layered with bubbling champagne flutes, a dancing violinist and speakeasy bar. In a remote theater scrolled film footage of the couples dating airing in black and white.

The formal dinner was in a Great Gatsby Era tent dripping in sequence, feathers and pearls. Even the chandeliers were dripping in foliage. Guests enjoyed a full course feast until joyfully interrupted by flappers and horns coming in to jumpstart the party. The dance floor heated up while fireworks launched overhead. The mirror photo booth was flashing as guests posed for keepsake pictures. Liquor continued to pour while the layers of desserts and late night food treats raged on.

To the guests surprise roaring 20’s police entered, blew whistles and raided the venue forcing a last call for an evening that will live on forever in memories.

Center of Attention Events team wants to personally thank the family for inviting us to plan this destination wedding in Northern California. Earlier in the year we were honored to plan the wedding for Alison, sister and Matron of Honor to the bride. After a fabulous grand mansion wedding, Amanda and her mother decided that Michele had to be her planner too. They had been previously working with a planner but knew that only Michele could bring creativity and fun to the wedding of their dreams. Our team could not have been blessed by a bigger compliment. Thank you to both Amanda, Alison and Kathy for entrusting us with your most important days.
