-Our Love Story-

Hayden and Olivia first met in May 2013 during placement auditions for the guitar conservatory for the 2013-14 OCSA school year. Hayden was a freshman who had already attended the school the previous year. Olivia would become a freshman during the upcoming school year, her first at OCSA. They would remember this brief introduction months later in October, when they reconnected backstage at a school performance of Pink Floyd’s The Wall in which they were musicians. The nine hours they spent together over the course of three days of tech rehearsals proved to be all the time they needed to get to know each other. The day after the final performance of The Wall, October 28, 2013, Hayden asked Olivia out to Ruby’s Diner at the Huntington Beach pier. After she said yes, they kissed for the first time. Suddenly, Olivia looked up at Hayden and asked, “What is this?”

It would turn out to be a committed, loving romantic relationship that persevered through each of their lives’ most difficult circumstances.

On June 29, 2022, Olivia and Hayden moved to Orange, California together with then seven-year-old Maltese mix Lucas. They went on to share several romantic vacations in Big Bear, Las Vegas, Honolulu, and Washington, DC among other places. On October 28, 2023, the couple celebrated 10 years together. On July 28, 2024, Hayden proposed marriage to Olivia at Parque Del Mar near T-Street Beach in San Clemente, California. The beachfront park was the site of an apartment Olivia shared with her father in her childhood. The newly engaged couple struggled to contain their excitement as they shared the news and Olivia shared the ring with friends, family, and onlookers at the San Clemente Pier, whose attention had now been caught by the spectacle.

Hayden and Olivia still live in Orange with Lucas, who is now 10. They look forward to their future together as a married couple, which will begin with a beautiful European honeymoon.

Meet our bridesmaid, Sydnee! She is an amazingly talented hair stylist working in a salon in Costa Mesa. Sydnee and Olivia met 5 years ago and have bonded over their shared love of Taylor Swift. She has been a loyal and kind friend to the bride and groom and they feel lucky to have her stand beside them on their big day.
Maddie (bridesmaid)

Meet Maddie! She and Olivia met 5 years ago during their time together in graduate school at UC, Irvine. They connected over their shared teaching professions and love of all things bravo related. Maddie is a wonderful educator and has been a great support for Olivia and Hayden over the years. They are thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid and share this special day with her.

Meet our maid of honor, Alex. Alex is an aspiring lawyer and is currently completing their second year of law school. She has been an amazing friend to the bride and groom over the years, they are tremendously grateful for Alex's presence in both of their lives. Olivia and Alex met when they were in the 3rd grade when they connected their pixel chick houses at a baja fresh. Since then, Olivia and Alex have made so many wonderful memories; they joke frequently that they 'share one brain cell' because they know each other so well. Meet our maid of honor, Becca! Becca was Olivia's very first friend, they met when they were just 4 months old and have stayed close ever since. Olivia and Becca promised many years ago that someday they would be maids of honor at each other's weddings. Sharing this experience with Becca has been a dream come true. Over the last 25 years, Becca has been there through everything. She has been a constant for Olivia and Hayden and they feel very lucky to have her in their lives.

Meet our best man, Max! Max is Hayden's cousin who have known each other for 24 years. They have so many wonderful memories growing up together. Max has a very caring heart and has been very supportive throughout Hayden and Olivia's relationship. They are honored to have him be a part of their big day.
